From the Desk of T&P Mentro, Training & Placement :
It is our privilege to place on the record, very successful first years of the Training and Placement Cell, Pacific School of Engineering, Sanki- Surat. The establishment of this Cell in the year 2015 has been a vision of the Pacific Trust and we take pride in saying that this dream has been coming out really well as Cell is providing maximum opportunities of placement among all colleges of GTU (south zone) by organising Job fair and Apprentice Bhartimela (On Job Training) along with campus and off campus drives.
The T & P Cell have taken special interest in upgrading the technical as well as soft skills of students.
Technical skill is the knowledge and abilities needed to accomplish engineering and computer-related duties, as well as other specific tasks. We continuously organise expert lectures, seminar, workshop, industrial visits for the different categories of students. We also organise Student Development Programme (SDP) and Faculty Development Programme (FDP) annually.
Soft skills or Non-Technical skill is the cluster of personality traits, communication, language, personal habits and optimism that characterize relationships with other people. These non-technical skills complement technical skills which are the occupational requirements of a job and entrepreneurship. We regularly arrange sessions for grooming and aptitude. Apart from these, the events like Group Discussion Tournament, Best Student Competition, Mock Recruitment Drive etc also contribute in the development and enhancement of understanding, learning and acquiring abilities of students.
I do not have even the slightest of doubt that the college will definitely take students to greater heights.
